Excellent value for the money!

Very good quality for the price - this puts the Legend head and shoulders above any other place I have stayed in Taiwan (6 so far). Free lemonade, water, noodle soup in the room. Close to the beautiful Marsalis Jazz Bar, two night markets and the metro, yet dead quiet at night. The hotel is "bike friendly". The wall paintings an night stands are funny. I would absolutely stay here again.

Great location, close to subway and Liuhe Market. Clean, spacious rooms. Very friendly staff.

Very Good

Had been there many years ago. This time I booked a double room. It was good space and comfy bed. But there had no breakfast. It had free noodle in the room, very nice. Closed to the night market only few mins walk. It's also close to the MRT station (6-8 mins walk). Staff was very friendly and helpful. I will stay again next time when I will be that area.

Great value for money

The room is very spacious for a one person stay. The bathroom is clean. The location is excellent. I am able to walk to a night market and it is close to the underground station. The hotel lobby has a common area and they offer refreshments.

The door is a bit noisy. I can hear people besides my room closing and opening the door, (as if they are opening my door) which is a bit annoying and scary. The room does not have a view, but it is alright.

Cosy rooms in convenient location

The hotel is in a really good location surrounded by convenience stores and a lot of eateries. Liuhe night market is a 5 min walk away. Rooms are clean and comfortable and have everything needed for a short stay. Very convenient location in the centre of Kaohsiung.

Wonderful

The room is spacious and clean. I also liked the creative paintings on the walls a lot. There are noodles for free and also very good coffee and popcorn in the lobby. Very good value for money!

The window is not soundproof, so it's not very quiet in the night.

A nice stay near Liuhe Night Market

Great location! Liked the free coffee and free snacks in the room.

The facilities were a bit old, despite the new art. Housekeeping never came around.

Very good value for this price

Very polite and respectful staff. The corridors and rooms were nicely painted. The room was nice and very well equipped. Free noodle soup, canned soft drink, bottled water. Quiet room. The bathroom was perfect. Good towels, big mirror, spacious shower cabin. Laundry was very cheap and very good. The washing machine and the detergent are free, you only pay for the dryer ($50/cycle). The hotel is relatively easy to find and it is easy to reach from the main station or from the Kaohsiung station. A small night market is just around the corner. It worth the visit.

There was no lid on the bathroom's trash can.

Best option in Kaohsiung for this price

Best hotel I have been in Taiwan. The location is perfect, near the night market. They have free shuttle service to the train station, free bikes for rent, free drinks and noodles in the room, free coffe, free laundry.... What more you can expect? The room is big, the bed is huge and confortable, the shower was perfect and the price was very good.

The kids love the room!

The kids love the room! Having 2 double beds that can be joined together is a major plus.. we can sleep throughout without having to worry about the kids falling off from the bed! Staff are friendly and helpful, answering our queries patiently. Lovely coffee place nearby the hotel..

It was a good stay with very cute rooms!

Nice room. Staff were very fast to deliver our toiletries to the room.

Cleaning is provided only when requested (by providing the room card to the staff at the counter), therefore, we have to request for toiletries to be replenished. For replenishing of bottled water, we have to go down to the counter to obtain ourselves.
